Cristina Fowler Chauvin is an associate in the firm’s New Orleans office. She was born in New Orleans, LA. In 1999, she graduated from the Academy of the Sacred Heart with High Honors. In 2002, she participated in the Innsbruck Program, where she studied English Literature and Psychology as she traveled throughout Europe. In 2003, Ms. Chauvin received her B.A. in English from Tulane University. In 2001, Ms. Chauvin attended the Tulane School of Architecture, where she received a minor degree in Architecture. Throughout her time in Architecture School, Ms. Chauvin received recognition for her model-making skills and her hand’s-on involvement with Habitat for Humanity. Her love of architecture has served as a catalyst to her strong interest in Construction and Real Estate Law. Ms. Chauvin also specializes in admiralty and maritime law. She spent the summer of 2003 studying admiralty and maritime law in Rhodes and Spetsus Greece. In 2007, Ms. Chauvin received her J.D. and an Admiralty and Maritime Certificate from the Tulane School of Law. Ms. Chauvin was admitted to the Louisiana Bar in 2008. She is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association, the New Orleans Bar Association, the Tulane Latin American Law Institute and the New Orleans Hispanic Heritage Foundation. Ms. Chauvin is on the WTC Government Affairs Committee for 2009. In addition, in 2009, she was elected to the Board of Directors of the New Orleans Chamber of Commerce. Ms. Chauvin is a corporate member of the Young Leadership Council.
